lately i’ve been feeling some kind of brave, meaning i’ve worn my best dresses to school with no fear of glue, marker stains, dirt, or the like. blythe works well as an assistant teacher; she’s polished and classy. if only she made the end of the year easier— you can blame my slow and steady posts on preparing report cards and assembling yearbooks for my children.

i thrifted the hat a couple of weekends ago without realizing it would squash my bangs over my eyes. at least i can use it as a cheap photo prop.
