2013. the year in review.
happy new year, friends! 2013 was a wonderful year— i started my fourth year of teaching, shared a lot of my favorite recipes, made a real, live gallery wall, and got married (!!) among other things. i went through the archive and pulled some of my favorite outfits. i loved polka dots, chambray, and splashes of color. i haven’t grown tired of classics with a little (often thrifted) twist.
last year i added lifestyle posts like food, home decor, and crafts with an outfit whenever manageable. i worried that i would lose some readers, and honestly, i did. but i’m so much happier; i feel like the blog is a scrapbook of what i like, make, wear, cook, and draw. that sums up every ideal day for me.
thank you for hanging around this little corner of the blog world. it means a lot when you read, write, or doodle that there’s someone out there, somewhere, who is looking or listening and doesn’t think you’re batty. we can make an exception for the instagram feed full of pug pictures, right?
